In the gay area
It's been almost a week now since Sarah and I left our peaceful little home, and decided to drive down to the Bay area. Primarily this visit was planned as a work trip, unlike our lovely vacation in Tennessee recently. Fortunately for us, it also happens to be Pride weekend, and we have alot of queer friends who are performing in one way or another while we are in town. Business has been slow, but I'm also picky about who I do business with, so I've had a lot of time to go on walks and catch up with old friends. I haven't been out hiking as much as I would like to because of the wildfires burning all over CA. Still the one walk I did go on with Sarah in the Berkley hills was a lot of fun, and was a welcome reprieve from the sheer madness which is the Bay Area. I'll be heading back home on Friday, and then I should be in the PNW for at least the next week or two.
