I just found out about this and I am so excited...On July 16-20 in Chicago the Desiree Alliance will be hosting its annual convergence. I'm not sure how big a presence TS sex workers will have in this conference, judging from reports I've heard from friends who've attended previously, probably not much. But...I'm going to go, because I think TS are a very important part of the sex-work community and need to be represented in full force.

Well, its raining ice outside (which I suppose means its not actually raining, snaining?), which is actually a welcome relief from the weeks previous high winds and freezing temperatures. Since I need to stay warm, and many of you probably do too, I would like to share a preview of the upcoming "Buddy Wood's Shemale Cuties Who Like It Up  Their Booties" which will be my first hardcore scene released on DVD. I had a really great time shooting this scene, and I'm super excited for it to come out.  It's not due to be released until sometime in Late February, but perhaps because of my persistence in wanting to see some footage, or just because Buddy was proud of it, the good folks at Grooby decided to tittilate us. I found this article on Eros's TVTS Zine the other day, which by the way if you haven't had the time to check out yet, it is definitely worth perusing. Anyways, here is a link to an interview with Mandy Goodhandy , who I have to say I found to be quite impressive, not just because she shares a name with me. Ms. Goodhandy runs a pansexual nightclub and TS Strip club in Toronto as well as some adult themed websites, and has a definite focus on Sex-trade positive organizing. It is rare that I find other performers and or important members of the TS community who publicly identify as queer, and even rarer to find one that seems to care about more than just maximizing profit.   One of my favored ways of passing the time is exploring the wonderful world of BDSM.
